I was very skeptical in ordering a dinette set online and originally ordered a dinette set from my local furniture store. They told me it would come in between 4-6 weeks. After 4 weeks, I called the store, who in turn called the factory. They found out that the set was on back order and would not be available for anouther 6 weeks! I said forget it and ordered the 7-piece Hudson set through Dinette.com.

I received my order in about a week! Plus, the furniture came in perfect condition---not a scratch! It was very well packaged. The set is all wood and very good quality. The picture of the set online was exactly what it looks like. My father, who is very handy, put it together (table and 6 chairs) in about 2 1/2 hours. "In my many years of internet ordering, this was by far the smoothest. I was struggling to find a dining set that would fit in my small dining room area. As soon as I came upon this site, I realized this was the perfect fit. It met all my criteria on design, color, price and dimensions.

"I purchased this set as an anniversary set for my son and his wife. The set was a nice set and was as exactly as the picture shown. However when the set arrived, the extension leaf was damaged. My daughter in law called your company and got a very nice girl on the phone and she returned call after speaking to someone in charge that she needed a picture of the damaged leaf. My son took picture and another extension leaf was sent which was more damaged than the first one. This had been delivered by FEDEX. Upon another call to your company that the second leaf was worse than the first replacement, your company decided to have one of their employees deliver another leaf directly to her home which was done in a couple of days. Needless to say, your company responded very favorably to this problem. I was pleased in which the matter was handled by Dinette. "

I am very pleased with this 7 piece set. I was able to put the table and chairs together in one afternoon using the included instructions and without any assistance or extra tools. I have a small dining area that I wanted to use this in and the table without the leaf serves for intimate dining for four. The wood is a deep, espresso brown with a satin finish and of very good quality. The design is sleek and elegant and the effect is wonderfully modern and durable.

I did end up buying some attractive dining cushions for the chairs, but it was for preferred comfort and not lack of style. The included leaf is easy to install when needed and easy to remove when ready to store. I wish it had come with a protective sleeve for storage, but I am not sure if very many dining sets come with something like that.

Overall, the buying experience with the merchant through Amazon was great despite a small shipping delay and their customer service was consistent and helpful. Cheers!

This item was exactly as advertised; and the service during and after the sale was excellent.

The table is well made, packaged properly and easy to assemble. When assembled it looks great and it is as nice as any piece I have seen in the regular furniture stores.

One minor problem with the leaf was taken care of immediately by the vendor.

A great transaction and a great product at a very fair price.
