All of our solid wood dinettes from Malaysia are manufactured with 100%, plantation-grown, sustainable rubberwood. Malaysian rubberwood has recently become popular because of its abundant availability and the nearly invisible footprint it leaves on the environment.
In addition to using only the most environmentally friendly resources, all of the finishes on our dinette sets are water-based, and all outer packaging is made with recycled paper products.

The set is very heavy and well made. The finish on the table top and seats is beautiful. If you are a little old lady living alone, you will NOT be able to put this together yourself! It's packed well, which is great, but stapling all the hardware to the bottom of the table top seems unnecessary and is a pain to remove . The underside of the upper crossbar of the chair backs on all 4 of my chairs has 3 unnecessary holes drilled into them--I don't know why, but I would not return the set for this reason. You can only see these if you are looking at the chair upside down or while you are assembling the chairs. For the price, floor protectors should be provided, but they are not. You will definitely need felt protectors for use on a wood floor. Overall, it's a well-made, beautiful set and I'm sure we'll enjoy it for a long time to come.

My husband & I are thrilled with dining room set. We bought a little holiday house & wanted good qualitiy furniture without the high cost we had been seeing in the store. When I saw this online we were so impressed with the wonderful reviews we ordered it and are thrilled it is a very sturdy piece and now the only problem we have is we would rather keep it our here than take it to the country house. The shipment went smoothly and there was not even a scatch on it. upon taking it out of the very well packaged box.

My mother and father in Louisiana were downsizing to a much smaller house and gave me their antique dining room set. My mother found this set and fell in love with it, so I purchased it for them to replace the one they gave me. The set arrived in perfect condition and in only three days. The finish on the wood was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. My parents are very happy with their "comfortable", new dining room set!

I bought this set to put in my breakfast nook. It is just perfect!! I was very surprised at the quality and how easy it was to put together! Very prompt service and the price is outstanding for the quality.
