This is a substantial savings considering the actual cost of packing and shipping on our dining room furniture sets ranges from $70-250. Please note that for the few consumers who fall "beyond" the shipping company's delivery radius, additional charges may apply.

Dinette.com ships dining furniture to any destination in the contiguous 48 states.

If you live in HI and AK and wish to make a purchase, please contact service@dinette.com before placing an order to confirm shipping costs and estimated shipping times.

Unfortunately we do not ship our dining furniture products to Canada or outside the USA at his time.

2. Estimated Shipping Times

We do our absolute best to ship all orders within 24 hours. At Dinette so we let our employees enjoy their weekends and holidays. If you end up placing an order over the weekend or on a holiday we will ship your order the next day we are open!

We ship our dinette sets using two methods:

•  FedEx Ground Home Delivery
•  Home Appointment Freight Delivery

Each product description specifies which method is used.

Dining sets shipped via FedEx arrive according to the following estimated schedule:

East Coast: 1-3 business days from ship date
Midwest : 2-4 business days from ship date
West Coast 4-5 business days from ship date

Customers who purchase dinette sets shipped via Home Appointment Freight Delivery will be contacted within 3-6 business days from ship date to set up a convenient appointment (Monday - Friday 9am - 5 pm) when the set will be delivered to your door.

3. Shipping Costs

It costs Dinette.com between $60-250 to pack and ship each and every dining room furniture set we sell. The actual cost depends on several factors, including the size of the dinette set, the weight of the dining set and the zip code of the shipping destination.

Please note:  on the rare occasion a customer lives outside of normal delivery area (50 miles beyond nearest commercial airport) we will contact you before shipment if additional charges apply.

4. Federal Express Shipping Features

FEDEX GROUND HOME DELIVERY

Currently we ship many of our dining furniture products through FedEx. We use FedEx Ground Home Delivery, the highest quality, residential home delivery service available. Unlike other carriers, FedEx uses smaller vans and takes extra care with their packages. It costs more but we've found that it is well worth the price since damage in transit is rare. You can feel secure with the knowledge that we are doing everything in our power to ensure that your new dining furniture set arrives in the same pristine condition it was in when it left our warehouse. FedEx Ground also delivers much later in the day than many carriers (up until 8 pm ). Our customers appreciate the opportunity to be at home when their dinette furniture set arrives.

HOME APPOINTMENT FREIGHT DELIVER 

Many of our larger dining furniture sets are shipped using a furniture delivery specialist. This guarantees that your dinette set will be handled with the utmost care during transit. The dining set is shrink-wrapped and intact until it reaches your address. Only when these delivery specialists reach your address and bring the set to your door is the set removed from the original packaging.

The best part of this service is that you will be contacted 3-7 business days after the set ships from our warehouse to schedule a Home Appointment Delivery at your convenience (Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm). There is no additional charge for this added service!

BEYOND CHARGES - for HOME APPOINTMENT DELIVERIES.  If the zip code where the order is to be delivered is outside of what the Freight company deems BEYOND their normal delivery range (usually 30 miles) from their nearest depot, then we will contact you and let you know of any additional charges.  At that time you will have the option to cancel for a full refund.  Please note that this is simply a factor of a zip code and the distance from the destination hub of the freight carrier - all shipments to this zip code will incur this cost.

5. Order Tracking

You will receive a confirmation email after you place your dining furniture order and AFTER your card has been authorized. Your card will only be charged AFTER your order ships. In your order confirmation email, you will receive a dinette.com tracking number. You can use this number to refer to your order when contacting customer service or checking the status of your dining set order at our homepage

If your shipping address is different than your billing address, please expect a phone call from a Dinette.com customer service agent. We call customers with different ship-to and bill-to addresses as a courtesy to protect you (and us) from being a victim of fraud

When your dinette furniture set leaves our warehouse in Brooklyn (usually within 1 business day of placing your order), you will receive a shipping confirmation email to the email address you entered when placing your order. This email will contain your Dinette.com Order Confirmation Number.

ITEMS SHIPPED VIA FEDEX

If your set has been shipped with FedEx you will receive a second email directly from FedEx alerting you that your package has left the warehouse. This email will also contain a FedEx tracking number that you can use to check on the status of your shipment at http://www.fedex.com .

FedEx will give you an estimated arrival date so you can plan to be home when the dining furniture package arrives. FedEx will only show a status if the furniture has been picked up and is in transit. It sometimes takes a few hours after the initial pickup for your tracking numbers to appear in the FedEx tracking system online.

ITEMS SHIPPED VIA HOME APPOINTMENT FREIGHT DELIVERY

If your set has been shipped via Home Appointment Freight Delivery you will receive a second email from Dinette.com with a link to the tracking information of your shipment. You will be contacted at the telephone number you entered within 3-6 business days after you order ships. Please note the expected delivery date listed is only an estimation- your actual delivery date is only set once you are contacted to arrange the time at your convenience. If you have not been contacted by the Freight company within 6 business days after your order ships, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service department and we will gladly help expedite the delivery appointment.

6. Uh-oh. Problems/Damage

We do everything we can to ensure your dinette set arrives in pristine condition. We perform quality control and inspect each item before it is diligently packed for shipment. We have devised solid protection methods and we use the best shipping services available. Despite our best efforts, there are rare instances that damages of dining room furniture do occur in shipping.

If your dining set arrives with a damage, we will do everything in our power to do whatever is necessary to fix the problem and make your furniture order complete. Please contact customer service immediately, but no later than 3 business days after your set arrives. We will send out a replacement of the dining furniture part that is damaged and file a claim with the shipper who damaged it in transit. The customer must keep the original boxes of the damaged part so the shipper can pick it up when they deliver the replacement.

Please know that every dining room furniture order leaves our shipping facilities fully inspected and in new/pristine condition. If damage occurs, we will do what is necessary to correct the problem and you will have a complete set as you ordered. In no situation do we pickup the entire set as a result of one part being damaged. Any customer is welcome to return their dining room furniture purchase at their cost of shipping. Damaged pieces will be picked up at the shipper's expense.

How do I know if the item is in stock?

All dining room furniture sets shown on dinette.com are in stock unless otherwise noted in the product description of the item.

Can I pay by check?

Yes, we accept certified check or money order. Please call customer service to place your order 1-877-DINETTE.

Can I give you my information over the phone?

Yes, we are happy to take phone orders. Please call our customer service department between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm eastern standard time Monday through Friday and we will be happy to help you with all dining room furniture orders. If you call and cannot reach a customer service rep directly, please kindly leave a message with your telephone number and a good time to reach you. Someone will call you back as soon as possible, usually within a few hours.

Do you collect sales tax?

We only charge tax to New York residents as our warehouse is located in Brooklyn, New York. It is each customer's responsibility to pay any applicable local or state taxes. Currently, orders being shipped to any other state are exempt from sales tax.

How can I track my order?

If your order is being shipped by FedEx ground, you will automatically receive an email with your FedEx tracking number. For these orders you can simply go to www.fedex.com and enter the tracking number included in the email. The fedex site will give you the estimated date of arrival of your dining furniture so you will know when to expect delivery.

If your order is being sent by Freight Carrier, you will also be sent an email that contains the tracking information to prepare for your HOME DELIVERY APPOINTMENT. This email will contain a link that will tell you the status of your shipment and an estimated arrival date. Please note that the arrival date is determined when the freight company calls you and arranges an appointment at your convenience

How long will it take to ship out my new dinette set?

Dinette.com owns all of its inventory and keeps all IN STOCK dinettes at our warehouse in Brooklyn, New York. Under normal circumstances, we are able to ship out dinette orders the next business day after receiving your order.

How long will it take to receive my new dinette set?

Each product description specifies which method is used.

We ship our dining room furniture products using two methods:

2. Home Appointment Freight Delivery

Customers who purchase dining room sets shipped via Home Appointment Freight Delivery will be contacted 3-5 business days after ship date to set up a convenient appointment (Mon – Fri 9am - 5 pm) when the set will be delivered inside your door at no additional charge. Please note: the phone number you enter with your order will be the contact number our freight carrier will use to make the delivery arrangements.

Do I need to be home to accept delivery?

It is not necessary to be home for delivery of Fed Ex sets but we recommend that you are looking out for the set upon arrival.

All dining sets and dining furniture shipped via Home Appointment Freight Delivery will be scheduled at your convenience when you are at home.

Sets that are normally shipped FedEx are available to be shipped via Home Appointment Freight Delivery for an additional charge of $50. To arrange this service you must contact customer service immediately after placing your order.

 

Will the delivery be brought into my home?

Fedex and most common carriers will bring your new dinette set to your front door or porch area. It is your responsibility to bring the set into your home and into the room of your choice. Please note that most sets are packed in multiple boxes to make it easier to transport and to ensure the safety of your dining furniture items in transit.

Can I have the order delivered on a specific date?

Yes, you can! Please contact customer service before placing your order to make any special or custom delivery arrangement.

Can I change the color of my dinette chair seats?

Dinette.com cannot customize seat cushions at this time. However, it is very easy for you to recover the seats with a material of your choice. Simply pull the material over the seat cushion BEFORE attaching to the seat base to the wood chair and staple the new material to the underside of the seat.

Can I change the color or size of the dining set?

Unless otherwise noted in the product description, items are sold as shown on the site and it is not possible to make changes or substitutions.

Do you have other dining furniture items to sell other than shown?

We currently do not offer any dinette sets that are not shown on the site. We are constantly adding new sets so please be sure to check back often if you do not find what you are looking for during your initial visit.

Do you carry any "Brand Name" dinette sets?

All of the sets available on Dinette.com are exclusive models purchased directly by dinette.com from factories made expressly for sale on our site. We do not offer any other brands.

What if there is a damage to my order?

We do everything we can to ensure your dining room furniture set arrives in pristine condition. We perform quality control and inspect each item before it is diligently packed for shipment. We have devised solid protection methods and we use the best shipping services available. Despite our best efforts, there are rare instances that damages do occur in shipping.

What if I receive the dinette set and I don't like it?

We want our customers to be happy with their purchase. If you want to return your set, we gladly accept returns. Please contact customer service (service@dinette.com or 1-877-dinette) within 14 days after you receive the set and we will give you a return authorization number. The customer is responsible for shipping the dining set back to us. Customer is also responsible for insuring the package against damage in return-transit. If the customer does not purchase insurance and there is damage in transit, customer will be responsible for the full value of the set

If the dining furniture set is not assembled and arrives to us in original condition, we will give a FULL REFUND of the item price (shipping charges are not refundable). We do NOT charge restocking fees in these cases.

If the dinette set was assembled or we do not receive it in its original condition, we will give a refund less a restocking fee of at least 15% of the price of the item. If the customer wants to make another selection or accept a store credit, we have the option to waive the restocking fee as a courtesy.
